Data Processing Information
This information distinguishes business-account data from data users enter about their own customers.
Roles
Monika Sahani, trading as HelpSignal, is controller for website, billing and direct-support information. A customer is controller for customer records and ticket content entered for their own business; HelpSignal acts as a service provider or processor where applicable.
Data categories
- Account and contact details.
- Billing confirmations and references, excluding complete card data.
- Customer records, support-ticket content, response history and internal notes entered by users.
- Service and support logs.
Instructions and confidentiality
Customer data is processed to provide the selected software service and support. Access is limited to what is reasonably necessary for operation and support. Users must not enter data they have no right to process.
Sub-processors and transfers
Hosting, email and Stripe may process relevant data. Appropriate contractual or UK-recognised transfer safeguards are used where processing occurs outside the UK.
Retention, return and deletion
Customer records are retained while the package is in use and for a reasonable period needed for support, legal obligations or requested export. Valid deletion requests are handled subject to legal retention requirements.
Security and incidents
Reasonable access controls, HTTPS and protected configuration are used. If a personal-data breach occurs, HelpSignal will assess, contain and notify affected parties and the ICO where legally required. No unverified certification is claimed.
